Tri-ang R119 TC Mail Coach

Early versions with transfers on the lower, earlier, coach and printed lettering and numbers on the top, later, coach

Note the different positioning of the Tri-ang Railways name and the number.

The actuating mechanism on the very early coach, top in the above photo, was taken from the R.23 Mail Coach already in production, on later models, lower photo, it was changed to a bespoke unit. Also the early coaches had their roof glued on, whilst on the later version it was fixed with a screw.
